How Does Qualifying Work for Euro 2024?
Euro 2024 qualifying started in March 2023 with 53 teams competing for 23 spots (Germany automatically qualify as hosts). Teams are split into 10 groups, playing each other twice, home and away.
The top two teams from each group advance, filling 20 spots. The remaining three spots are determined through a play-off tournament featuring 12 teams, based on their 2022-23 UEFA Nations League results.
